Description |
Welcome to The Haven our family owned Mediterranean style villa decorated and furnished to a high standard for your comfort and enjoyment. Located in the heart of Orlando and on Disney’s doorstep. It is a large (over 2000 sq ft) two storey, detached, fully air conditioned, luxury property in which nine people plus an infant can comfortably be accommodated
We personally chose our furnishings and complimentary items with our guest’s requirements as our number 1 priority and we are sure you will not be disappointed with our choices if you decide to stay in our villa.
A feature of The Haven is the Front Porch, Why not take the rocking chairs out and have a long cool drink while watching the world go by. As you are only minutes from a lake and conservation area you may even spot some of the local wildlife.
The Ground Floor is open plan, bright and spacious.
The Living Room which is fully carpeted and has cable tv with 200 channels, if you can’t find something to watch we have provided a DVD player and selection of dvds for your enjoyment.
You have a choice of two comfortable sofas to sit on, as well as an armchair with footstool and two rocking chairs
There is a separate Dining Area, which seats six; the table can be extended for two more.
The modern open Kitchen Area comes complete with breakfast bar and barstools has a large cooker, hob, microwave, large fridge freezer with icemaker, a full complement of crockery, cutlery as well as everything else a modern kitchen boasts, and when you have finished your meal there is the waste disposal and dishwasher to give you extra time by the pool.
Next to the kitchen is a separate Utility Room which consists of a top load washing machine, top load tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner plus shelving space – but remember you are on holiday.
This leads through to the garage, which we have converted into a Games Area which has a full size pool table, table tennis converter, 12 in 1 games system including pool, table football, and hockey for the younger children, and all the equipment you need for playing. This is where the pool toys and inflatables are stored.
The Last room on the ground floor is the Pool Cloakroom, which has a vanity unit and toilet plus an alarmed door that leads you to the pool. You can find all your pool towels here.
The Pool Area is fully screened to let the Florida sun in but keep the insects out. The pool itself is rectangular in shape (26ft x13ft) and has MULTICOLOUR underwater lighting for your evening swim as well as a FREE STANDING HYDROTHERAPY HOT TUB; the decking area around the pool is block paved and has deep padded cushioned patio furniture including reclining chairs with footstools, sunloungers, and tables and chairs as well as lighting for your relaxing evenings.We have also planted beautiful flowering plants to provide NATURAL PRIVACY. You can enter the pool area via the cloakroom and you may also enter via the living area patio doors, both ways are alarmed for the safety of your children.
On to the First Floor you have a large landing area from which you can enter the four beautiful bedrooms and shared family bathroom.
The Sanctuary is the master bedroom which has luxury carpet fitted throughout, large walk in wardrobe and has a huge King size (6 ft wide) bed with bedside cabinets and lamps on either side. There is also a large bedroom unit with mirror that provides lots of storage space as well as housing the TV that receives cable channels, there is also a clock/radio for those early morning wake up calls for the parks. For the exclusive use of the master bedroom we have the en-suite bathroom, which has a Roman bath, walk-in shower, his and her (Jack and Jill) vanity units and a separate toilet.
Next you have The Retreat the second double bedroom, which comes with a Queen size bed, bedside cabinets with lamps and a clock radio, a large bedroom unit with mirror plus TV with cable channels, a large wardrobe and a direct door to the shared family bathroom which has a bath, integral shower, vanity unit and toilet.
The remaining two rooms are twin rooms.
Sunny Days is pleasantly decorated in yellow and orange, has twin beds, wardrobe, drawers, clock radio and TV with Play station 2 and games. This is the larger of the twin rooms and a third bed is stored here if needed.
Beachcomber Bay has been decorated in blues and greens and has a relaxing Sea theme. There is a large wardrobe/closet, drawers, and clock radio, TV with Play station 2.
General information:
We are pleased to provide complimentary use of cot/crib (linen provided), a highchair, a fold up buggy, full size stroller, and a baby monitor for families with young children.
All linen and towels are provided free of charge.
Hairdryers are provided free of charge.
Free local calls (for those takeaways) and with use of a credit/phone card you can make long distance phone calls and receive incoming calls as well.

Smoking is not allowed inside the villa, but is permitted on the patio area (ash trays provided).
There is also a 24-hour super Wal-Mart supermarket located less than half a mile from the villa.
Location: Your villa is located on the new resort of High Grove, which is situated where SR 27 meets Highway 192. High Grove is a small-gated community with a large community swimming pool and a clubhouse. You are approximately 6 miles/10 minutes from Disney World, MGM studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney water parks, plus Downtown Disney for daytime fun and nightlife, and are close to all the other major attractions Orland has to offer (please see map).
The villa is ideally located for Highway 192, which offers 15 miles of shops, retail outlets, supermarkets, garages, excellent restaurants, fast-food outlets, bars, shows, crazy golf, go-karts, water parks, and helicopter rides.
Other Attractions: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Discovery Cove (your chance to swim with a dolphin), Busch Gardens, Kennedy Space Centre, Cypress Gardens, Silver Springs, Gatorade,
International Drive Area, Winter Park, Aquatic Wonders boat tours, Airboat rides, Parasailing, Balloon trips, Petting farms, Golf (150 courses within an hours drive of Orland) Fishing, water sports, Horse riding and Motor sports. You are 1 hour’s drive from the Atlantic coast and 1 hour and 20 minutes from the gulf coast.
Nightlife: Downtown Disney: Cirque due Solely, 24 screen state of the art cinema, Planet Hollywood, Virgin Megaspore, Disney Quest,
Pleasure Island: Where every night is New Year’s Eve in the many bars restaurants and clubs.
Dinner shows: Arabian Nights, Pirates Dinner Adventure, Medieval Times, and Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Shows.
